Today was tough. It was the first day I didn't have the day mapped out. There were no immediate errands to run, no plans made with anyone, nothing. This was my first day of truly having nothing to do. It was a reality check of what being unemployed can be like. Fortunately for me, my toddler requires tons of attention ( In my opinion) and helps the day zoom by. It starts with breakfast and doesn't end till she's down. Now I know what you're thinking, "Why wouldn't you just look for jobs all day?" Well...If you recall my previous sentence, You'd know I'm doing daddy day care. I challenge anyone to show me how to get ANYTHING thoroughly done while watching a TODDLER. It's BANANA'S!!!, but I digress. No matter how positive of a attitude you have, dealing with the realities of your situations can be hard. No matter how your spin it, No matter what angle you take, No matter how much syrup you pour on it, It is what it is. After all the, " I'm sorry" from your friends have left. You now have the tough task of picking yourself up and moving on. At the end of the day you can get all philosophical but it all boils down to this. Just do it.
Godspeed
